MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of James Ronald Landreneau,77 announces his passing on Wednesday,July 4, 2012 at 12:20 a.m. at Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated on Friday , July 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Lanse Meg with Father Mark Melancon officiating.
Ronald a resident of Mamou, was a loving father, brother, grandfather great grandfather and friend, and will lovingly be remembered by his two sons, Keith Landreneau and wife, Sheryl, and Kent Landreneau and Fiance Angela Brasseaux all of Mamou one daughter, Annette and husband Joey Fontenot of Sunset one sister, Linda Dupuis and husband, Linus of Mamou eight grandchildren, Alexis Fontenot, Alicia and husband Joseph Garrison, Tiffani and Brennan Guillory, Dustin and Jonathan Fontenot, Theresa and husband Scotty McGee and Becky Fontenot four greatgrandchildren, Kinsley Garrison, Alyssa Fontenot, Kylie McGee and Layla MccGee. .
He now rest in Heaven with his beloved wife, Mary Jane Richard Landreneau, his father, Armand P. Landreneau, his mother, Agnes Manuel Landreneau and two brothers, Lee Landreneau and Ray Landreneau.
At the request of the family visiting hours will be observed Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 pm. The Funeral Home will reopen 7:00 am until time of services A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm.
