MAMOUA wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, James Vidrine will be missed by all who knew and loved him. James died on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at his residence. He was 50. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Bryce Sibley officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum.
James was a lifelong resident and was a Grand Knight with the Knights Of Columbus 2675 Mamou Council , He was also an Adoree for Perpetual Adoration at St. Anns Catholic Church James was a man of God and a man of the Church .
James leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his loving wife Paula Soileau Vidrine of Mamou two loving daughters, Whitney Mae Vidrine, and Jamie Ann Vidrine both of Mamou Stepfather , Madison K. Fontenot of Mamou one brother,Benny Vidrine and wife Suzanne of Mamou one granddaughter, Anna Mae Vidrine. Now he rests in heaven with his beloved parents, Elvin and Eula Mae Vidrine one sister Karen Vidrine one brother, Bobby Vidrine and two nephews, Paul and Lance Vidrine.
The family requests that visitation take place on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 2:00 pm until time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Monday.
