MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Jamie Diane Douget, 43 announces her passing on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 12:00 pm at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery with Father Thainese officiating.

Jamie will be greatly missed by her son, Stephen Douget of Mamou daughter, Hali Douget of Mamou mother, Susan Diane Richardson of Chataignier father, Darrell A. Shepherd, Sr. of Papaville, MS one brother, Darrel A. Shepherd, Jr. of Chataignier one stepbrother, John Mac Stanford of Chataignier five half brothers, Darren Shepherd of Monroe, Daniel, Jay, Andy and AJ Shepherd, all of Oakgrove. Jamie is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. The Funeral Home will reopen on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 11:30 am Thursday morning.
