aligncenterMAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial for Jayden Joseph Freeman will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 5, 2009 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Bryce Sibley officiating.

Jayden, a resident of Mamou, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Lafayette General Hospital. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Marvin Freeman and Kayle Saucier of Mamou; one sister, Macayle Marviana Saucier and one brother, Jayshawn Saucier, both of Mamou; maternal grandfather, Randy Saucier of Kinder; maternal great-grandfather, Harold Gaspard of Mamou; maternal great-grandmother, Helen Saucier; paternal great-great grandparents, Andrew and Edna Gaspard of Eunice; paternal grandfather, Jerry Lee Gallow of Ville Platte; and paternal grandmother, Dianne Freeman of Opelousas.

Jayden was preceded in death by maternal great-grandmother, Juanita Gaspard; maternal great-grandfather, J.L. Saucier; paternal great-grandfather, JY Freeman; paternal great-grandmother, Emma Williams; and maternal great-grandfather,Fredrick Gallow, and her uncle Joseph Saucier.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, March 5, 2009 from 9:00 am until until time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Wednesday evening by Deacon Roderick Perron.
