MAMOUA wonderful, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Jessie P. Landreneau will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Jessie died peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 8:15 am at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie. He was 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 3:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Joshua Guillory officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery.
The things that brought Jessie the most joy in his life were being with his family and friends.
Jessie leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his loving son, Jeris Landreneau of Vidrine two loving daughters, Diana Sue Deshotel of Vidrine and Pamela L. Kennedy of Monroe one brother, James Clayton Landreneau of Texas City, Tx one sister Nettie Maine Campbell of Pine Prairie ten grandchildren, twentytwo great grandchildren and six greatgreat grandchildren.
Now he rests in heaven with his beloved wife of 67 years Marjorie A. Landreneau, and one grandson, Jonathan Brock Guillory.
The family requests that visitation take place on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Sunday. The Funeral Home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday October 15, 2012
