Mamou-A Mass of Christian Burial for J. L,Saucier , will be Saturday May 3, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Bob Courville officiating.

Mr. Saucier a resident of Mamou, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2008 athis residence. He was a

Councilman for the town of Mamou, for the past twenty- one years.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Helen Saucier of Mamou one son, Randy Saucier of Mamou; two daughters, Belinda Saucier, and Melisa Saucier both of Mamou; one sister Germaine Reed ; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren,.

He is preceded in death by one grandson Joey Saucier his Twin brother, J.E. Saucier; five sisters Bernice Fontenot, Margie Fontenot, Elsie Mae Johnson, Juanita Fontenot, and Georgiana saucier;

Family request that visiting hours be observed on Friday, Mayl 2, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday evening.
