Joey Cole

PINE PRAIRIE – Funeral Services will be held for Joey Dwayne Cole at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Church of Christ in Pine Prairie.  Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Joey Dwayne Cole, 53, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his residence. Joey was born on October 30, 1968, in Welch, LA to Bobby and Willaverll Hebert Cole.  Joey worked in road construction most of his life.  His family and friends would say he was a jack of all trades and master of most.  He was a loving father, uncle, and brother.  His family meant the world to him.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, cutting firewood, and hunting.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to ride around and visit with friends. Joey will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber Elizabeth Cole; son, Devon Chapman; brother, Randy Cole; sister, Donna Manuel; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Willaverll Hebert Cole; son, Dustin Cole; sister-in-law, Phyllis Cole; and brother-in-law, Daniel Manuel.

Visitation will be held at Church of Christ in Pine Prairie beginning on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 2:00 PM continuing until time of service on Friday at 10:00 AM.
