A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m Sunday, March 4, 2007 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, for Mr. John Percy Roberie, who passed away on Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Savoy Care Center in Mamou.

The Rev. Bob Courville Pastor of St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the Reeds Cemetery in Mamou.

Mr. Roberie was a loving father and grandfather. He was in the United States Army and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion Post 123 in Mamou.

Survivors, include two sons, Allen Roberie and wife Liz of Opelousas, and Jessie Roberie of Mamou; one daughter, Dr. Margaret Roberie of New Orleans; six grandchildren, Heath Roberie, Melanie R. Soileau, Olivia Roberie, Rebecca Glade, David Glade and Rachel Roberie .

Mr Roberie was preceded in death by his wife, Merna Roberie.

Family request visitation hours be observed on Saturday, March 3, 2007, 4:00 pm-10:00 pm. Sunday, March 4, 2007, 8:00 am till time of services.
