John Vidrine

MAMOU – Funeral services will be held at an 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 for John Benny Vidrine, 64, who passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 in Mamou, Louisiana.

Father Billy Massie will be celebrant of the Mass and will conduct funeral services.

Burial will take place in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.

Benny is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Suzanne Vidrine; son, Joel Austin Vidrine and wife, Krista; daughter, Maggie Guillory and husband, Troy; five grandchildren, Gracie Guillory, Aubree Guillory, Blaze Vidrine, Nolan Guillory, and Jewel Vidrine.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Eula Mae Fontenot Vidrine; son, Lance Vidrine; stepfather, Madison Fontenot; two brothers, James Vidrine and Bobby Vidrine; and sister, Karen Vidrine.

The family requests that visitation will be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  A rosary will be recited in his honor on Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
