It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Johnny Reed, 64 announces his passing on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Eunice. Services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Richie House of Prayer in Richie. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Mamou with Pastor Joey Reed officiating.

A father, brother, grandfather and friend Johnny will be greatly missed by his three sons, Joey Reed and wife, Naomi of Eunice, Brandon Reed and wife, Jessica of Mamou and Byron Reed and wife, Nina of Mamou; one sister, JoAnn Guillory of Oberlin; ten grandchildren, Camry Reed, Ansley Arrant, Myranda Reed, Melaina Reed, Kaleb Reed, Keegan Reed, Micah Reed, Lillian Reed, Dylan Reed and Hayden Reed; as well as extended family and friends.

Johnny is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Reed, his son,
Johnny Reed, Jr., and his parents, Francis and Elizabeth Guillory Reed. They surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.

At the request of the Reed family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 pm and on Thursday,
June 23, 2016 at the Richie House of Prayer from 9:00 am until time of Services.
