Mamou- Funeral services were held on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. for Joseph Roosevelt Deville, 77. Mr. Deville died on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 6:50 A.M. at Savoy Medical Center. Services were held at St. Anns Catholic Church, with burial in the New St. Anns Mausoleum, with Father Richard Broussard officiating.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 26, 2006 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. the Funeral Home reopened on Monday, November 27, 2006 from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.

Mr. Deville is survived, by his wife Anna Belle Deville of Mamou,La; two sons, Shelton Deville of Lake Charles, La, Roger Dale Deville of Mamou,La; three daughters, Verona D. Fontenot, Sandra D. Perron, Angela Nichols, all of Mamou.

Mr. Deville was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Francis Deville; one daughter, Clarice Deville Miller; his parents, Lester Lorina Granger Deville; one brother, Aubrey Deville, one sister, Mildred Vidrine , and three grandsons, Paul Elvin Vdrine, David Scott Fontenot, Quinten Jude Perron, two granddaughters, Fefe Miller, and Catrina Granger.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou was in charge of arrangements.
