MAMOU. Funeral Services will be Celebrated at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, on Tuesday November 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm Rite of Committial will follow in the Pine Point Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant.
Floyd a father, grandfather, and friend will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his, son Jesse Fontenot, of Iota, La three daughters, Jill Fontenot and husband Robert, of Mamou, La, Jeannie Buller husband Tony, of Kinder, La, and Joey and husband, Marcus Gordon, of Iota, La elevengrandchildren David and Dylan Guillory, Christopher, Amber, and Nicholas Fontenot Erika, Jacob, and Luke Chance Chance Babineaux, Allison Fontenot, and Bailey Buller two sisters, Anna Lee and Velma Vevie both of Opelousas, La. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias, and Elmire Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm
and again on Tuesday November 15, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of services..a Rosary will be recited on Monday, evening at 6:00 pm by Father Mark Melancon.
