MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Joseph "Brad" Granger, 65 announces his passing on Saturday, May 09, 2015 at 10:20 P.M. at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Chapel services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the First Baptist/Bieber Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon officiating
Brad was a retired Veteran of the United States Army. He was a recipient of 2 Purple Hearts. He enjoyed fishing and hunting
Brad will be missed by all who knew him, especially by his, wife of 47 years, Sandra Granger of Mamou; one son, Edward Hank Granger of Iowa; one daughter-in-law, Spring Beaver Granger of Kinder; two brothers, Carl Granger and wife, Janie of Houston, Tx, and Edward Granger Jr. of Mamou; one sister, Janice Fuselier and husband, Jimmy of Mamou; four grandchildren, Abby Bamburg, Keegan Granger, Kaden Granger and Ryan Richard.
He will now reunite in Heaven with his parents, Edward and Emma Lou Fontenot Granger and one son, Joseph B. Granger II. They surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00A.M. on Tuesday until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at6:00 P.M.on Monday.
