MAMOU It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Judith Faye Fuselier, 68, announces her passing on Monday, December 22, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Pine Point Cemetery with Father Thainese celebrant.
Judy as she was known by her family and friends was a retired first grade teacher. She taught at Mamou Lower Elementary for 38 years. Judy was an active parishioner of St. Anns Catholic Church for her entire life. She was a loving and devoted mother to her seven children. Left behind to cherish her memory are her four sons Christopher Fuselier and wife Dina of Rowlette, Texas, Michael Fuselier and wife Michele of Eunice, Chuck Fuselier of Scott, and Tate Fuselier of New Orleans and her three daughters Emily Fuselier Fontenot and husband Mike of Mamou, Angelle Fuselier Cart and husband Brad of Chataignier and Rebecca Fuselier of Mamou. Also left behind are her eleven grandchildren.
She now rests in heaven with her beloved husband Conrad Fuselier, her parents Wesley and Claire Tate McCauley and her sister Carole Fuselier.
At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 4:30 PM until time of service. A rosary will be recited in her honor Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM.
