MAMOUIt is with great sadness that the family of Judy Ann Guillory Thompson, announces her passing on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant.

Judy a retired LPN was a dedicated employee of Savoy Medical Center, New Horizons, and Savoy Care Center. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be lovingly missed by her husband, Ted Thompson of Mamou her mother, Jane Guillory of Mamou three sons, Philip Menier and wife, Cassie of Pine Prairie, Todd Menier and wife, Donna of Turkey Creek and Chad Menier of Pine Prairie and one daughter, Becky Menier and fianc Mark Bertrand of Mamou her eight grandchildren and six step grandchildren.

Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved father, Edward Guillory and a brother, Patrick Guillory.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou on Sunday, February 27th from 2:30 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, February 28th from 8:00 am until time of services. Angie Granger will recite a Rosary at 6:30 pm Sunday evening.
