It is difficult to explain the pain caused by the loss of our little princess, Kassie Dawn Prudhomme, who entered into her eternal slumber on Monday June 5, 2017. She passed in the loving care of her family. She lived until the age of 18, and was a resident of Reddell , LA until she moved to Rayne, LA. A Christian Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, June 08, 2017 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou, LA. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery of Mamou, LA with Father Mitch Guidry officiating.

Kassie loved to play dress up, which is only fitting for a princess. She loved to play with her sister in her bed. She enjoyed her cartoons on the television. Her favorite show was Dora the Explorer. If she was not found sporting one of her beautiful princess gowns, she loved her pajama set her mother had made for her.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her especially her mother, Michelle and husband, Louis Favre of Ville Platte, LA: her father, Scott Prudhomme of Rayne, LA; her sisters, Marcie Prudhomme of Rayne, LA, Courtney and husband, Matthew Harrison of Benton, LA, and Brittney and husband, Eric St. Cyr of Ville Platte, LA; her aunt, Candice Charlie; her uncles, Russell Fontenot Jr., Donald Byrd Jr., and Kevin Byrd; her niece, Annabelle Harrison; her nephews, Hayden Dupre, Rhyder Harrison, and Matthew St. Cyr; along with countless other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Peggy and Frank Prudhomme; and her maternal grandparents, Wilma Byrd and Russell Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou, LA on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Wednesday by Deacon Gene Lebouf. We will reopen on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 8:00 am until time of services.
We ask that all attending the funeral service on Thursday, June 8, 2017 wear their very best for Ms. Kassie. We ask that you wear the most formal attire that you own for our princess.
