Mamou- Funeral services for Kenneth Reed, 49, were held on Thursday, January 25, 2007 10: 00 am at St. Anns Catholic Church with father Pius Vallooran officiating.

Burial followed in the Reeds Cemetery.

Mr. Reed a resident of Houston, Texas and a native of Mamou, died on Monday, January 21, 2007 at his resident.

Kenneth, is survived by his father and his step-mother, J Roy Georgana Reed; four brothers, Michael, Mitchell, Patrick, Nicholas Reed and his wife, Neilie

all of Mamou; three step-brothers, Tim Manuel of Beaver, Barry Manuel of Opelousas, Ferral Manuel of Lafayette; one sister, Jennifer Jackson husband, David; three step-sisters, Cynthia Ahart of Opelousas, Mona Daigle of Mamou, FeFe Cabe of Little Rock , Arkansas.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 3:00 p.m until 10:00 p.m. The Funeral Home will reopen 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary was recited at 7:oo p.m. on Wednesday.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Parry Jane Reed.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou was in charge of arrangements.
