Kevin Bellard

MAMOU-Funeral Services will be held at a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Monday, August 12, 2019, for Kevin Joseph Bellard, 43, who passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019.

Father Billy Massie, Pastor of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct all funeral services.

Burial will take place in Rider Cemetery in Ville Platte.

Kevin Joseph Bellard was born on February 18, 1976 to Kenneth Bellard and Abigail Fontenot. Kevin loved spending time outdoors, fishing, and crabbing but his greatest love was the love he had for his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed music by Cody Jinks and Ward Davis and going to their concerts with his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dawn Renee' Bellard; parents, Kenneth James Bellard and Abigail Marie Fontenot; mother-in-law, Tina Ann Doucet; two sons, Kristian John Bellard and Kyron Jude Bellard; two daughters, Katelyn Ann Fontenot and husband Andrew Michael Fontenot and Daisy Renee' Gabrielle Bellard; three grandchildren, Briggs Bellard, Slade Bellard and Bennett Fontenot; and his nephews, Nathan George and Beau George, all of Mamou.

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Clyde George, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Hattie F. Fontenot and Bruce P. Fontenot.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 3:00 PM until time of service on Monday. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6:00 PM Sunday.
