MAMOU It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Larry J. Guillory announces his passing on Wednesday, January 05, 2011 at his residence at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, January 07, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with burial in New St. Ann Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon officiating.

Larry was a devoted, longtime teacher and principal in education for over 40 years. A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Marcantel Guillory of Mamou two sons, Steven Paul Guillory and wife, April of Lake Charles, and Joshua James Guillory and wife, Tara of Baton Rouge three daughters, Elizabeth Guillory Romero and husband, Mason of Abbeville, Susan Guillory Mayeaux and husband, Robert of Mamou, and Margaret Ellen Guillory of Lake Charles brother, James Denny Guillory and wife, Barbara of Mamou and was further blessed with nine grandchildren, Eric and Kelsie Mayeaux, Matthew, Olivia and William Romero, Isaac, Andrew, and Nicholas Guillory, and Caleb Guillory.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, Regile and Josephine Guillory.

At the request of the family visitation will be held Thursday, January 06, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday, January 07, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until time of Services.
