Mamou- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.at St. Anns Catholic Church for Mr. Lee Mayeaux, 87. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum; Mr. Mayeaux a resident of Vidrine, La, died on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La.

Mr. Mayeaux, a retired farmer, carpenter, and cattleman, is survived, by three sons, Ferrel Mayeaux, Randy Mayeaux, and Steve Mayeaux, all of Vidrine, La; one daughter, Faye Mayeaux, of Vidrine, La. Fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernice Mayeaux, and one son, Wayne Mayeaux.
