MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 30, 2009 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, La, for Mr. Lester Lus Landreneau who passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte, La. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Bryce Sibley officiating.

He will be lovingly remembered by, children,grandchildren, sisters and brothers; Mr. Landreneau is survived by his one son, Robert Bobby Landreneau and wife Paula of Ville Platte, La three daughters, Janice JAN Prestridge and husband Thomas, of Baton Rouge, Tamara Landreneau of Talbot , Tenn., and Melissa Landreneau of Port Allen; one brother, Clarence Landreneau, of Houma; three sisters Eva Martel, Ethel Landreneau both of Mamou, and Mary Rettberg of Opelousas; six grandchildren, Olivia Ardoin, Travis Landreneau, Matthew Prestridge, Allison Cutrer, Jessica Prestridge and Ashley Love; five great grandchildren, Dawson and Kennedy Ardoin, Delanie Prestridge, Reese Prestridge, amd Nicholas Achee; He was preceded in death by, his wife DorothyLandreneau, parents Eddie and Marie Landreneau, three brothers, Chester, Howard, and Lionel Landreneau; two sisters, Mary Lou Corkern and Priscilla Menier ;

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm The Funeral Home will reopen at 8:00 am on Friday until time of services at 11:00 am.

A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, at 7:00 pm.
