Mamou- Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 for Lillian D. Fontenot, 85, at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, La with Father Bob Courville offiociating. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery.

Mrs. Fontenot, a resident of Mamou, died on Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.

She is survived by a brother, Jerry Duplechain wife, Mary of Ville Platte, La; one sister, Lula Pitre Fuselier of Eunice La.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Olivier Fontenot; two sisters, Lilly Duplechain, and Wynice Ancelet; her parents, Adsam and Martha Duplechain.

Visitation, will take place, on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 5:00 p.m.- until 9.00p.m.

The Funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, Augusr 23, 2007 until time of services.

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.

Ardoin Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
