MAMOU The family of Lillian Verrette Fuselier announce her passing on Thursday, September 08, 2011 at Oaklane Wellness Rehabilation. She was 95 years old. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Monday, September 12, 2011 at the St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Interment will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant
Lillian was a housewife . She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Fuselier Savant and husband Walter, of Lake Charles, Cora Fuselier Price of Alexandria, and Margarett Ann Fuselier Tauzin and husband, Allen of Denton Texas ten grandchildren, Twentyfour greatgrandchildren and two greatgreatgrandchildren. Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Walter Fuselier one infant son Joseph Fuselier, one adult son Albert Joseph Fuselier three grandchildren Christine West, Marianne Lowery, and Jonothon Savant and one greatgrandchild, Carla Rose Savant seven brothers, and one sister.
Mrs. Lillian was a member of Secular Order Discalsed Carmelite. She was in the Community of Mary, Mother of Grace in Lafayette, La. Her Clothing Date was October 11, 1970. Herfinal promise was made on November 11, 1973 and her Vows were made on March 7, 1977. Her name in the Order was Sister Lelia Marie of St. Anthony.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Reopen at 8:00 am until time of services at 10:00 am
