MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 11, 2009 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou for Lilly Mae Bertrand, 78, who passed away on Friday, May 08, 2009 at Savoy Care Center. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Lanse Meg with Father Bryce Sibley officiating.

Lilly will be lovingly remembered by two sons, Gregory Manuel and wife, Joanah and Ray Manuel and wife, Jennifer both of Mamou; three daughters, Mona Harwell and husband, Ted, Ruby Chapman and husband, Rollance, and Tonya Godeaux and husband, Michael all of Mamou; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby G. Bertrand; a son, Kirk Fontenot; and parents, Joseph Delino and Elia Richard Smith.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, May 10, 2009 from 2:00 pm until time of services on Monday. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6:00 pm.
