Mamou A Memorial service will be held for Llewellyn Fontenot on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 6:00 pm at Ardoin Funeral Home chapel. A wake will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Tuesday. Deacon Eugene Lebouf will officiate. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.
He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Fontenot of Mamou
one son Joseph Fontenot and wife, Angie of Rayne one daughter, Theresa Raines and husband, Dale of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
One grandson, Skeet Fontenot of Slidell and one granddaughter Carmen Miller of Rayne. Mr. Fontenot was a veteran of the Korean Conflict
as a member of the U.S. Marines. He was a farmer, truck driver, and a security guard for Savoy Medical Center.
He loved to raise a garden and tell his grandchildren just how to plant their garden. He loved to speak French and teach it to others,
