MAMOU Loresa Resa Fontenot went to be with our Lord in Heaven. She passed peacefully at the Savoy Care Center in Mamou, surrounded by her family, on August 01, 2014 at 2:05 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reeds Cemetery in Mamou with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
Loresa loved French music, family and friends, camping, dancing, sewing, shopping and playing with grandchildren.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother sister and friend, Loresa will be greatly missed by her husband of 44 years, Kelly Louis Yo Fontenot of Mamou two sons, Joseph Kerry Fontenot and wife, Sonya of Mamou and David Neal Miller and wife, Christine of Lake Charles one daughter, Stephanie Miller Taylor of Lake Charles two brothers, Doward Perron of Lake Charles and Carl Glyn Perron of Lanse Greis She was further blessed with ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. They were the absolute light of her life.
She will now rest in Heaven with her parents, Paul and Agnes Hollier Perron, two sons, Darrin Miller and Anthony Louis Fontenot. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. The Funeral Home will reopen on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 8:00 AM until time of services. Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
