MAMOU - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Loretta Maher, 68, announce her passing on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 6:20A.M. At Eunice Extended Care Hospital in Eunice. Chapel services will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Mrs. Loretta was a Retired Assistant Administrator for Savoy Care Center with thirty years of Service.
She is survived by her Companion, Bobby Joe Ardoin of Mamou; one daughter, Tabitha Maher Niles and husband Bruce of Eunice; she is also survived by two granddaughters, Shelby and Stacy Niles both of Eunice.
Loretta is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, Herbert and Ferna Mae O'Connor, her brother, Carol O'Connor and a sister, Arlene O'Connor. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the Maher family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 A.M. Sunday morning until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday.
