MAMOUIt is with great sadness that the family of Mable Fontenot, 85, announces her passing on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Savoy Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann Mausoleum with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.

A loving wife, sister and friend, Mable will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Elvin Fontenot of Mamou and sister, Mildred F. Manuel of Lake Charles.

She now rest in Heaven with her beloved parents, Theophile and Eva Fontenot brother, Vorise Fontenot and sister, Ruby Marie Fontenot.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm, and again Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
