Mamou- Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 10:00 am for Mable D. Landreneau,88. Services will be at St. Anns Catholic Church with Father Bob Courville. Burial will following the New St. Anns Mausoleum.

Mrs. Landreneau, a resident of Mamou died on Wednesday, July 24, 2007 at 5:00 am at her residence, following a long illness.She was a homemaker and mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Schorlen Landreneau of Lafayette, La;three daughters, Shelva Dean Vidrine and her husband, John, and Diana Landreneau both of Mamou,La ,and Brenda Johnson and her husband Jerry of Chataignier, La; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evabe Landreneau, her parents, Ferdinand and Georgianna Duplechin, two brothers, Claney and Willard Duplechin and two sisters, Carrie and Lena.

Visitation will be held, on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 10:00 am- until 10:00 pm.the Funeral Home will reopen on Thursday, at 8:00 am until time of Funeral. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
