MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of Madge S. Perron, 76, passed away November 24, 2010 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday, November 26, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry officiating.
Madge was a previous professor in the Cursillo and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She enjoyed drinking coffee, visiting with friends, and going to the camp with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed life and watching LSU and Saints football games. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all who loved her. The family would like to thank all who supported them in their time of need, especially Mrs. Elwyn Granger, Brandy Fontenot, her friends at Peaceful Chateau, and the doctors, nurses and staff of Savoy Medical Center and Rapides Regional Medical Center. She leaves a loving and grateful family including her two sons, Kirk Perron and wife, Charlotte of Eunice and Ryan Perron of Mamou daughter, Michelle Perron of Lafayette seven grandchildren, Jerome, John, Elizabeth, Anna, Nicholas, Macey, and Joseph and great grandchild, Preslee.
She now rest in Heaven with her beloved husband, Buford Perron and parents, Freeman and Cammie Guillory Soileau.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held Thursday, November 25, 2010 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and again on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday evening by Dr. Roderick Perron.
