MAMOU – Manon "Noni" Deloach, a beloved wife, mother, and sister, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Ochsner New Orleans Main Hospital surrounded by her beloved family, at the age of 58. Known affectionately as Noni to her loved ones, she was a lifelong resident of Mamou, LA. The funeral services in her memory will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 3:00 pm followed by burial at New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
She touched the hearts of all who knew her with her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her personality defined by a deep sense of care and understanding that she extended to everyone she met. She had a special bond with nature and spent hours tending to her beautiful Butterfly Garden. Each butterfly that graced her garden was a symbol of the care and love she shared with the world.
Noni's faith was an integral part of her life. As a devout Christian, she lived out her beliefs through kindness and compassion towards others. Her green thumb was not only evident in her garden but also in the way she nurtured relationships and fostered love within her community.
She found solace in the simple joys of life - from basking in the sun on the beach to tending to her garden oasis. Noni's honesty and sincerity were refreshing to all who crossed paths with her. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those who were privileged to have known her.
Noni will be missed deeply by her husband of 41 years, Ernie Deloach; her daughters, Gabby and husband, Steven Rider, and Cesily Deloach; her son, Ross Deloach and wife, Amy; her grandchildren, Noah, Levi, Vivian, Lillian and Amelia. Also left to cherish her memories are her sisters, Melinda and husband, Richard Lodge, and Melody and husband, Marion Pierrotti; her brothers, Randy Young and wife, Jerri; Rhett Young and wife, Sally, and Robin Young and wife, Missy; and her sisters-in-law, Paula and husband, Sammy, and Amy Perron.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roderick “Dicky” Young and Juanita Fuselier, and her brother-in-law, Don Perron.
At the request of the family, a visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am until the time of the service.
