MAMOU – A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Mamou, on Saturday, August 1, 2020, for Mark Fuselier, 55, who passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2020 at his home in Mamou surrounded by his loving family.
Brother Mike Fontenot will conduct funeral services.
Mark Fuselier was born on June 29, 1965 in Okinawa, Japan to Joseph Fuselier and Masa Higo Fuselier. Mark was gifted at making life an adventure. He never wasted a moment being idle. He truly lived life to the fullest. His love for his family was immense. His children were his pride and joy. Mark enjoyed sports and cheering for his favorite Louisiana teams; LSU, the Saints, and the Pelicans. He was an incredible cook. His specialties were gumbo, rice and gravy, and his famous octopus. Mark was loved and adored by so many and he will be greatly missed.
Mark is survived by his wife whom he adored with all his heart, Tanya Deshotel Fuselier of Mamou, sons, Joseph Fuselier and Hunter Fuselier both of Mamou; daughter, Chloe’ Fuselier of Mamou; mother, Masa Higo Fuselier of Mamou, sister, Tina Ray of Lafayette, grandson, Kayson Cortina of Mamou, his furry children, Otis, Gizmo, and Missy; and many relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph S. Fuselier; and grandmother, Lessie Fuselier.
At the request of the family, visitation will be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 12:00 PM until time of service.
