MAMOU - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Mary Delyne Fontenot, 65, announce her passing on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 1:47A.M. at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. Chapel services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the Pine Point Cemetery with Fr.Thainese officiating.
She is survived by two sons, Teddy J. Fontenot and James Brian Fontenot both of Mamou; one daughter, Sandra Lynette Fontenot of Mamou; one sister, Sheila Fontenot of Mamou.; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three nieces.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Elson Fontenot, her parents, Toland and Marjorie Fontenot, one brother, Gary Fontenot.
At the request of the Fontenot family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday evening by Deacon Chuck Ortego. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 A.M. on Thursday morning until time of services.
