Mary LeBleu, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 74. A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 11:00 am at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou.

Mary Lillian LeBleu was born on Sunday, February 11,1951 in Ville Platte, Louisiana and made Mamou her home. Mary was an extraordinarily loving lady whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. With a smile that could brighten anyone's day, she truly never met a stranger. Her personality was as spicy as her conversation; if she had something on her mind, you could be assured that you would hear about it, yet she always expressed her thoughts with a caring touch. Mary loved to talk and made connecting with others a priority in her life. When she called, it was imperative that you answered, as her family was her heart, and she held a deep desire to ensure everyone was well.

Her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, was a cornerstone of her life. This devotion provided her strength and a framework for her relationships, deeply influencing how she interacted with everyone. Mary devoted her life to spreading kindness and compassion, leaving memories that will long be remembered by all who knew her including her daughters, Debra Jagneaux and Nella Hebert and her sons, William Jagneaux and Rodney Jagneaux. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 16 grandchildren, Christopher Aucoin, Chassica Soileau, William Paul McCleary, Gene Stratton, Jr., Shane Stratton, Kasey Nicole Stratton, Trulie Jagneaux , Clevland Jagneaux , Brent Jagneaux, John M. Jagneaux, Hyley A. Jagneaux, Madison Jagneaux, Johathon Hebert, Joshua Hebert , Mkayla Hebert, and Hannah Hebert; 30 great grandchildren; and her sister, Velma Fontenot.

She now joins in heaven her parents, Adam Yves LeBleu and Adeline Chapman; daughters, Shona and Melissa Jagneaux; grandson, Charles Soileau; and granddaughter, Sarah Jagneaux.
