MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Mary B. Manuel, 85, announces her passing on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 1:00 a.m. at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Darren Eldrige Celebrant.
Mary will be greatly missed by her two children, Nora Monk and husband, Freddie of Oakdale and Michael Manuel and wife, Brenda of Vidrine four grandchildren, Karen Maricle and husband, Justin of Oakdale, Shane Manuel and wife, Becky of Moss Bluff, Tori Mire and husband Marty and Casey Manuel both of Vidrine six great grandchildren, Nicholas and Emily Maricle, Shelbie and Conner Manuel and Jordyn and Bailey Mire one sister, Uline Reed of Eunice Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Thompson and Edith West Berzas and her two husbands, Gladney Manuel and Vorice Manuel
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30p.m. By Deacon Chuck Ortego.
