Mary Fontenot

Mamou- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Maragret Fontenot were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at St. Anns Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Rougeau Cemetery with Fr. Pius Vallooran officiating.

Mrs. Fontenot, age 62, a resident of Mamou,La. She was a homemaker. Mrs Fontenot was preceded in death by a son, Steven Fontenot; her parents, Murphy Catherine Meche Rougeau.

The visitationwas held on Monday, August 14, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, August 14, 2006 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary was recited on Monday, August 14, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.

Survivors include her husband, Glin C. Fontenot; one daughter Catherine Fontenot of Baton Rouge, La; she is also survived by two grandsons, Caleb Seth Fontenot of Baton Rouge, La.
