MAMOUA wonderful, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, greatgreatgrandmother and greatgreatgreat grandmother, and friend, Mary Soileau will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary died on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Savoy Medical Center. She was 94. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Mark Melancon officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Mamou. The things that brought Mary the most joy in her life were being with her Grandchildren , family and friends.
Mary leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her loving daughter,Jessie Line S. Lafleur and husband Curtis of Mamou five grandsons, James Lafleur, Ricky Lafleur and wifeWendy, Mark Lafleur and fianc, Angie Mouton, Craig Lafleur, and Kirk Lafleur and wife, Rachel, all of Mamou twentyone great grandchildren, nineteen greatgreat grandchildren and three greatgreatgreat grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Soileau, her parents, Constance Evia Pierrotti, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, which one brother was her twin.The family requests that visitation take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from10:00 AM until time of services, at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou.
