MAMOU-Maxine Fontenot, 65, a home maker and resident of Mamou, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at her residence.

Survivors include her two sons, Anthony Pine Mark Fontenot and wife, Tabby of Easton and Barry N. Fontenot and wife, Anya of Basile; one daughter, Lanna Faye Johnson of Eunice; two sisters, Dorothy Vezinat of Lake Charles and Hilda Vezinat of Eunice; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death in death by a son, Cleveland Fontenot, Jr.
