Mamou- Chapel services will be held at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou for Merina M. Foret, 81 , on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 2:00 pm with burial following in the Reeds Cemetery, with Father Pius Vallooran officiating.

Mrs. Foret, a resident of Mamou, died on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 6:10 p.m. at Savoy Medical Center, in Mamou following a long illness.

Merina was a wonderful Mother and GrandMother and will be sadley missed By her daughter,Charlene Whittington, of Mamou; her two sons, Mike Foret and his wife, Beverly, and Paul Foret and his wife, Jackie all of Mamou. She will be greatly missed by Her eight grandchildren and nineteen great- grandchildren .

She was preceded in death byher parents, Deause Estasie Menier; her husband, Louis Foret; two brothers, J.C. Harry Menier; and a son-in-law, Charles Whittington.

The family requests that visitation take place, on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, June 6, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services .A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 7:00 pm.
