MAMOUA Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sunday, March 28 at 2:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church for Merle Russell Reed, better known as Rusty, passed away after a automobile accident. Burial will be in the New St. Anns Mausoleum, with Father Jude Thierry Celebrant. A Rosary will be recited on Saturday evening, at 6:30 pm.
Rusty left his family and friends on earth Thursday, March 25, 2010 to join his heavenly father and loved ones in the peace of eternity. His 48 years were spent knowing and loving all of those left behind. He is survived by one son, Justin Reed of Mamou one stepson Eric Pinell of U.S. National Guard in Irac one brother, John Peanut Reed of Pineville, La one sister, Gillian Sissy Savant two grandchildren. Rusty was preceded in death by his wife Camille Kim Aucoin Reed, and his parents, Hubert and Sandy Anderson Reed.
At the request of the family visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.The Funeral Home will reopen on Sunday, March 28, 2010 until time of services.
