Mamou- A Mass Of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm

At St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou for Merton Soileau, 79, who passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008

At his residence, in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Bob

Couirville Celebrant.

Mr. Merton was a retired Merchant, he also worked at the Evangeline Parish Sheriff s Department as a Deputy.

Mr. Soileau, is survived by two daughters, Patricia Soileau, and Phyllis Soileau both of Mamou; one brother Percy Soileau of Ville Platte; one brother-in-law, Warren Beaugh, of Opelousas;

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aderase, and Florence Soileau; his wife, Merline B. Soileau , and three brothers, Alton, Allen and Donald Soileau.

The Family request that visitation be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou, May 6, 2008 from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 7:00am until time of services. Father Bob Courville will recite the rosary, at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
