Michael Keith Hollier, affectionately known as "Boudin," passed away at the age of 43 on Monday, December 16, 2024. Born on October 8, 1981, in Eunice, LA, he was a devoted son to his parents, Keith and Connie Hollier, and a cherished brother, uncle, and friend to many.
A graduate of Mamou High School, Michael continued his education at TH Harris College and dedicated time to serving his community with the Sheriff’s Department of St. Landry and Evangeline Parishes. He went on to work as an Electronics Technician for Fugro Chance, before he discovered his passion for truck driving at Colburn's, where he exemplified hard work and commitment.
A man of many passions, Michael found joy in the great outdoors. He cherished time spent fishing and camping, often accompanied by family. Michael's adventurous spirit led him to explore on his motorcycle or in his jeep, always seeking new experiences and memories. He loved family gatherings, where laughter, his favorite dishes of gumbo and boiled crawfish, and the company of his beloved dog, Chico, filled the air with warmth.
His legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and everlasting love, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his two sisters, Dawn Babineaux and her husband, Anthony, and Tami Vidrine and her husband, Grant, both of Mamou. His spirited nieces and nephews, Kaylee and Evan Babineaux, Addison, Gavin, and Avery Vidrine, will forever cherish the memories they created with their Nonc Mike.
