MAMOU – A Memorial Service Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, January 29, 2022, for Michael Clay Spurlock, 51, who passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
Michael Clay Spurlock was born in Browns, Texas on April 27, 1970, to Ernest Spurlock and Winnie Brady. He was a retired Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He served in Desert Storm. Michael worked as a transport officer with the US Immigration Office. He was a very talented blacksmith, he enjoyed making knives, pot racks and boot holders. Michael’s family and friends will miss him dearly.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Cedatol Spurlock; daughter, Julia Spurlock and fiancé, Frederick Eveland; stepchildren, James McClain and wife, Davalynn, Keith McClain and wife, Taylor, and Daylon Dupris and husband, Hunter; six grandchildren, Ainsleigh Grace, Paisleigh Rose, Robert, Loxley, Ripley, and Hendrix; father-in-law, Steven Webb, and mother-in-law, Lucy Webb.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Spurlock and Winnie Brady; and sister, Michelle Perry.
The family request that visitation be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
