Mitchell Fontenot

MAMOU – Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM at Aucoin Manuel Cemetery on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 for Mitchell Wayne Fontenot, 55, who passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Mamou, Louisiana.

Father Billy Massie will conduct the service.

Burial will take place in Aucoin Manuel Cemetery.

Mitchell is survived by his mother, Audrey Vidrine and stepfather Donald Vidrine of Mamou; sisters, Dee Ann Laughlin and husband, Oran of Rayne, Brandy Vidrine and husband, Kyle of Mamou, Mistie Aucoin and husband, Jonathan, Jr. of Oberlin; daughter, Melany Champagne and husband, Nathan of Youngsville; son, Brandon Fontenot of Houston, TX; and grandchildren, Max and Kennedy Champagne.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
