Mamou-Funeral services for Murdine Guillory, 78, will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Chapel in Vidrine, La. with Fr. Bob Courville officiating. Burial will follow in Platin Cemetery in Vidrine, La.

Ms. Guillory, a resident of Mamou, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Savoy Medical Center.

Ms. Murdine is survived by her three sons, Denver Lane Guillory and wife, Deborah, of West Monroe, Al Keith Guillory and wife, Kim, of Vidrine, and James A. Guillory and wife, Theresa, of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Sandra Gayle Perron and husband, Carl, of Lanse Griese, and Phillis Brignac and late husband, Gerard of Vidrine; two sisters, Rosalene Chaffin of Pine Prairie and Rosa Belle Guillory of Vidrine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Luda Morein Deshotels; husband, Alvin Joseph Guillory; and a brother, Lester Deshotels, Sr.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
