MAMOU- God has called another of his children home. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Nedwyne Manuel Landry, 89, announces her passing on Sunday, January 04, 2015 at Oak Lane Nursing Home in Eunice. She has been set free from the suffering caused by Breast Cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 06, 2015 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou at 1:00 P.M. with Rite of Committal to follow in the New St. Ann's Mausoleum with Father Thainese as Celebrant.
Nedwyne enjoyed doing a wide variety of crafts including painting, sewing and ceramics. She was a full time wife, mother and grandmother who treasured her time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her children, Annette Tremie of Scott, Janice Manuel and husband Rhein of Eunice and Ted Landry and wife Cathy of Iota; one brother, J.E. Manuel of Eunice and one sister, Ena Fontenot of Mamou; She will also be missed by her loving grandchildren, Alaina, Amy, Ben, Bobby and Sharon.
Ms. Nedwyne was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Landry; one son Anthony; her parents, Amel Manuel and Lena Marcantel Manuel; brothers Nelson and Littell Manuel; sisters, Erose Manuel Fontenot.
The family would like to thank Lamm Home Health and Family Choice Care and Oak Lane Wellness and Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, January 06, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. Until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 12:30 P.M. Tuesday afternoon.
