MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Nita Bogard Monier announces her passing on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 5:50 am at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committial will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum with Father Thainese Celebrant.
Nita will be greatly missed by her three sons, Carroll W. Monier and his wife, Marcia of Penscola, FL, Cecil A. Monier and wife, Janice of Reddell, and Gregory L. Monier and wife, Tricia of Vidrine eight grandchildren, Christy Ortego, Allison Martin, Cora Manuel, Michelle Soileau, and Jonathon, Toby, Jordan and Sammy Monier twelve greatgrandchildren. She will now reunite in Heaven with her husband Harold Monier, one brother, Levy Bogard and one sister, Gladys Naquin.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego, on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 6:30 pm
