MAMOU-Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou for Octavia Berzas Pitre, 88, with a burial following in the New St. Ann Cemetery with Father Pius Vallooran officiating.

A loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Octavia is survived by her son Richard Pitre and his wife Rosa of Deham Springs, Carols Pitre and his wife Vicky of Baton Rouge, a sister Genavive Schoffler of Eunice.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Litell Pitre and a son Floyd.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 1:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. and Re-open on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 8:00 A.M. until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 7:00 P.M.
