MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Ovide St. Ann Sr, 77, announces his passing on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 4:38 a.m. at his residence in Mamou. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou.
A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, Ovide leaves behind six children Mitzi Ronquillo and husband, Leo of Chalmette, Bradley St.Ann and wife, Robyn of Slidell, Ovide St. Ann Jr. and Rodney St. Ann both of Buras, Tammy St. Ann - Martin of Slidell and Clayton St. Ann and Robin of Reddell; one brother, Maurice St. Ann of Buras and one sister Rose May Rodriguez of Gretna. He was further blessed with twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. They were the absolute light of his life.
He will now rest in Heaven with his parents, Lee Paul and Fidelia Duplessis St. Ann and four siblings, Jerry Lee and Clayton St. Ann, Delores Armand and Anita Dee Demolle. They surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
