Patricia Catoire

MAMOU-Funeral services will be held at a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Saturday, August 7, 2021, for Patricia Louween Catoire, 71, who passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Father Billy Massie, Pastor of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the Mass and will conduct funeral services.

Burial will take place at New St. Ann’s Cemetery.

Patricia Louween Catoire was born on July 5, 1950, in New Albany, Indiana to Kenneth Parker Krause, Sr. and Patricia Weaver Krause.  Patricia lived for time with her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  She was a seamstress for over 20 years.  She loved the holidays and her cats.  She leaves her family with many special memories.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph. L. Catoire; two daughters, Annette Foreman and husband, Michael of Sunset and Theresa Castille and husband, Dale of Reddell; seven grandchildren, Chris West, Britney Catoire, Magan Gaspard, Daphne Chapman, Tori Hicks, Tyler Chapman, and Olivia Castille; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenny Krause and wife, Judy and Perry Krause and wife, Pam both of Jeffersonville, IN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Parker Krause, Sr. and Patricia Weaver Krause; grandson, Derrick Chapman, Jr.; sister, Kathleen Krause; and brother, Davy Krause.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM.  A rosary will be recited by Deacon Gary Gaudin on Friday evening at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
